“Business Building” Strategies
SET YOUR
GOAL to increase Retail volume in addition to your ‘regular business’
(prospecting, one on one’s, groups, etc.) ENHANCE your business & INCOME
with Holiday Sales!

Order Holiday
Line and catalogs (the holiday line you deomonstrate is a tax write-off)
Shop for bags,
baskets, Mylar, ribbon, stationery, etc. art craft stores, target, Dollar
Store, etc. (again, a tax write-off)
Hold a “Holiday
Open House” or “Show ‘n’ Shop” in your home. Or, go in with another
consultant(s). An afternoon, and evening time slot is better than an
‘all day & evening’ event. 1-3pm & 7-9pm. Or spread out over
two days like Saturday 11-4 and Sunday 1 - 5.
Hold
your Holiday Open house no later than November
Create an
incentive for them to attend (refreshments, ordering specials, gifts, etc)
Follow-up
afterwards with those who couldn’t attend, and schedule an appointment for
them and ‘shop’ with you!

Hostesses
In addition
to your ‘catalog presentation’ and ‘Hormone Balance” groups, Offer your prospects,
clients, and past hostesses an opportunity to HOST a “Holiday Arbonne Party”,
where your focus is on holiday. They will still receive the wonderful
hosting gifts!
MEN!
12 days

Men’s
letter: Make a list of all the men you know (client’s husbands,
men you do business with, your husband’s friends, relatives, school &
church contacts, etc). Contact them and let them know that you offer
Custom Gift Baskets, personalized and ready to go for their: Wife,
Mother, Daughter, Secretary.
Men can often
be last minute shoppers. Ask them if they need gifts, what price range (offer
choices like $50, $100 and $150...) discover their preferred method of payment.
BUSINESSES
Find out
who does the purchasing for Holiday for their staff and clients. Make
an appointment to show them what you have to offer! If they already
have other plans, plant seed for next year, and offer Gift Certificates free
of charge to enclose in their envelope (see next tip)
LUNCH
& FUN
Set up a
time at places of business to showcase holiday line at lunch time or after
hours. You will most likely have a host who will organize this for you.
GIFT
CERTIFICATES
Make up
gift certificates for a complimentary Arbonne appointment to be redeemed
by the end of January 200_. (Use Gift Certificate Holiday Stationery)
Carry with you, enclose in Cards
SPECIAL SALE
DAY IN DECEMBER
Send out postcard with a ‘sale day’ (early Dec) with
special savings each hour. For instance, Call between 8:00am-9:00am
for 25% off, 9:00am-10am 20% off.
